Aitutaki (otherwise known as Araura or Ututaki) is partly volcanic and partly of atoll origin.

The magnificent lagoon (27 miles around) is abundant with colored fish of many varieties, its perimeter sprinkled with many small and charming uninhabited islands (motus).

Aitutaki's fertile volcanic soil provide a space for lush tropical native fauna, and an abundance of scrumptious fruit and vegetable plantations.

Aitutaki's culture is that of total 'happiness'. Celebrated with smiles, laughter, song and dance.

For more information about our beautiful island, its land, lagoon and culture please read on using the subpages listed in the left hand navigation tool bar.

Enjoy!
